If you poke a hole into the one end of the poop that is floating, would you smell poop or a fart?

Proof! I want proof that you know!
okay but this was way coincidentally after the fact...my 1 yr old just took a dump in his swimming trunks, sans diaper of course, and i had to flush three little turds...and they floated AND they smelled like POOP.
Hah! How's that?!? The proof is in the pudding!

Okay... I have to ask this, did you poke a hole in the turd to let the air out, and then smell?
